How we handle personal information

We protect personal and health-related information and limit who can see it. This page explains our current practice for companion and homemaker care — it is not a claim that we are a certified HIPAA covered entity.

What this company is

Grace and Glory Homecare LLC provides non-medical companion and homemaker support in Melbourne, Palm Bay, and nearby Brevard County. We are building toward licensed home health in Florida. We do not currently advertise as an AHCA-licensed Home Health Agency, and this website does not claim HIPAA certification.

How we use information

We collect only what we need to respond to a consultation, match a caregiver, schedule visits, bill for companion/homemaker support, and pay staff. Typical examples: your name and contact details, the city or ZIP where care is needed, visit times, and — when you choose to share them with the office — insurance or billing details for private-pay or third-party payers.

Please do not send Social Security numbers, insurance IDs, diagnoses, or medication lists through the public chatbot or the consultation form. Those details belong in a private conversation or the signed-in portal.

Who can access the portal

  • Administrators can see client records, insurance and rates, caregiver payroll, certifications, and the access log so the office can run the agency.
  • Caregivers see their own schedule (client name and visit times), their own payroll and certifications, and time reporting. They do not see other caregivers’ bank or tax IDs, client insurance, or client rates.
  • Clients see their own bills. They cannot open another family’s record.

Portal sessions time out after a short period of inactivity. Sensitive numbers (tax IDs, bank accounts, insurance member IDs) are stored encrypted and shown masked unless an administrator chooses to view the full value, which is recorded in the access log.

What we are still putting in writing

Technical safeguards on this site are modeled on the HIPAA Privacy and Security Rules so we treat client and caregiver data with the same care. A Business Associate Agreement with our host, staff training, and written office policies are separate steps the owners must complete. Until those are in place, please treat this as careful practice — not a legal certification.
